David began his career as a documentary film maker at BBC Wales, where he directed a variety of acclaimed programmes. These included biographies of the singer Dorothy Squires, the actress Rachel Roberts and the writer Jean Rhys.
In recent years he has worked as a series director on a wide variety of programmes including Sea Patrol (Five), Chris Ryan’s Elite Police (Sky), Neighbourhood Blues (BBC), World’s Craziest Police Pursuits (Five), STOP! Roadworks Ahead (Five), Measuring Evil (AETN)
As a docu-drama specialist, Rik’s credits as a producer include Ten Ways To Kill Bin Laden (HISTORY), Samurai Back from the Dead (C4) and Kennedy’s Suicide Bomber (Smithsonian).
